Do you allow dogs on the patio/deck??
The beer and mussels were fantastic. Great atmosphere too. This place just became my new favorite spot while stationed here.
MoreWaitress with a whatever attitude. Didn't know how to pour a beer, handed us dirty plates. Dressed like she was going to guns and Rose's concert! She laughed at the dirty plates.Bottom line, food is good service needs a major do over. Owners! You need to fix your staff. You have a great location and food but poor to fair staff.
MoreIt’s an alright place. The beer is good. The food is not bad. Service is subpar. They seem to be out of a lot. Would probably just go back for a few beers.
MoreGood food, big selection of delicious beers brewed on site and great service.
Lovely place with a nice view. 7 beers on tap ranges from amber ales, porters, stout
MorePlace was dirty inside, floors sticky and dirty, food was tasteless, run out of certain food items over all a dump. Will not return and do not suggest anyone to go there in fact the place should be shut down for violation of cleanliness.
MoreI remember the food and drink overlooking the harbour - memories to last a lifetime :)
MoreRude service. Ordered duck nachos (just as expensive as a FULL plate of nachos) neglected to tell us there was only 6 chips in the entire order.......
MoreGood beer, the lobster roll was legit! Heather the bar tender was very nice.
This was my first time at this place and it will not be my last. We ate here on a Thursday, so the special is happy hour all day and 1/2 pound burgers with a pint of beer for $10. I had a black and blue burger that was amazing and cooked just as I asked. We sat inside in the bar area. They have TVs and the place is decorated nicely and it is clean. There is outside seating and it looks like a great place when the weather is nice. The main course meals are priced in the $20s, but it looks like it is well worth it. The staff was friendly and nice. I highly recommend this place.
MoreHad dinner there with friends. Food was good and the service quick. Good selection of local beers. I would go again.
MoreNot sure what the bad reviews are based from, because this was phenomenal!Service was excellent! So fast and professional. The meal was awesome! Amazing! Tasty! The beer was to die for!We started with fried cheese curd....wow. following that was the Ale and Onion soup, very tasty! I had the Creole Ribeye with garlic mashed and asparagus. It was truly a great meal. Cooked perfectly with great flavor. My wife had the Chicken Cordon Bleu special. Wow, perfectly fried chicken! To top it off was the Caramel Turtle Cheesecake. Love at first bite!Amazing meal, fitting for a birthday. I loved it and cannot wait to come back. You wont be dissapointed. Thank you SHB! Well done!
MoreThey are still very much ironing out serving a large amount of people outdoors and our service was terrible. At first glance I didn’t want to blame our server but his lack of attention plus the fact that our party of two was served after countless large groups (over an hour and a half until we got our food) without a peep of consolation or even water refill, I would not recommend this place at all until they can properly staff, organize their kitchen and orders + train their servers on etiquette for late orders. Several other small groups noted the terrible service while we where there as well.
MoreGood quality food, my food could be warmer tho and better
Waited over 25 minutes and not one person came over to ask for drinks. However, we were seated before two other couples that were immediately attended to. Left after realizing that we would not have been attended to anytime soon. Gorgeous views but terrible service.
MoreNice place, nice atmosphere. Located in an old train station, with indoor and outdoor dining. I ate in the bar, overlooking the brewing area. The burger was great, with crisp fries. Had two very good beers while there. Had a chance to speak with one of the owners, Pearl, she was very nice and gave me information about the business and the town. Spent an enjoyable hour there
MoreI love the Thursday burger and beer night! Burgers are really good and together with a beer unbeatable for $10!!!
MoreCold beer and a burger on the deck... best spot in town.
We stopped in for lunch while on a motorcycle ride. The food was excellent and the deck is great if the weather cooperates. As we were riding, we didn't drink their beer at lunch. Instead we filled a growler to have when we got back to our hotel.
MoreThey will not split up checks for partys of six or more. Makes it so inconvenient for going out with friends. Having the customer try to figure out the bill is not the way to provide service. Then we still have to hand her 4 different cards anyways. Will not go there as a group again. Also waited forever for our food. On a good note the succession IPA was great.
More(Updated with photo of bees liking our food better than we did!)Should've obeyed the reviews! We stopped in for a quick lunch and sat on the patio. Service was terrible. Asked what was in the tuna tacos and waitress had no idea. Patio was dirty, cobwebs and dead bugs everywhere. Large bee problem as well. Several other tables moved inside b/c of this. Tuna tacos were tasty but small with very little tuna and expensive. $18 for 3 little tacos and some chips. She had the Berry salad which the bees liked better than she did. The lettuce wasn't fresh & the dressing was all sugar. When we received the check there were 2 beers and a glass of wine that we didn't order. Bathrooms were smelly and dingy. Cleaning is NOT a priority here. Go next door. It looked nice.
MoreGood beer and food, nice atmosphere. Dine in or out.
Nice place to have lunch and dinner, relaxing deck by the water is a great place to enjoy a bottle of wine. Food is pretty good, and is overall a solid restaurant.
MoreOutstanding meal very friendly servers.
Great food, great view
Soup was cold service really poor and slow. Could have had better but would have cost less.
MoreI live out of state but I worked in the area in 2016 for the summer and I came here regulary for food and drinks. I thought that the food was great!I am in town visiting with some friends and I suggested that we go eat here for dinner. Man I am so embarrassed and disappointed with this place. We sat down and it took about 5 minutes until we were greeted. The food came out cold and bland. Once the plates touched our table we were never greeted or talked to again until we asked for our check, not a "how's your meal," or "have a good night" or anything. This place needs some serious reform. I hope that someone can step in and make the changes needed because this used to be a great place.
MoreHave been here a few times indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views. Historic and service has been decent. Have enjoyed live music here a few times and their soups are really good. If you’re into craft beer definitely an awesome selection!
MoreWe ordered short ribs and salmon and both were delicious! My husband travels all over the USA for work and this is amazing food! Also the creme brulee is so good....has a vanilla bean hint. Yum!
MoreVery good food
Delicious draft 1812 beer, Friendly service, the breakfast bbq pork burger was one of the best meals I had all vacation. Definitely recommend.
MoreThe waitress was was great and the food was good but my wife order a rib eye med rare and it came out well done so we sent it back to get a new one.well the waitress came back and said that the owners and the chef will not give you a new steak because if the chef says it made correct then the shelf is always rite really I thought you would want to make the customer happy but anyway the waitress made it right for us i have never heard of this in my 53 years
MoreBeer was great but the bartender was unfriendly and we felt we were in her way when there was only one other couple in the bar
MoreGreat food great beer
I ordered a seafood chowder, there was supposed to be shrimp and scallops in it. very high price of ten bucks for it. There was only broth, no seafood anywhere in it? Everything on the menu was in my opinion high priced. I don't mind paying high price for good seafood, but both my wife and my chowders were a rip off. No seafood in the seafood chowder. We also got the lobster rolls that were loaded with lobster. Nothing worse than paying top dollar and getting ripped off.
MoreBeer wasn’t bad. Menu and food both poor. This is a brew pub, not a fine-dining establishment, but the menu half-believes it is. We ordered duck confit nachos and for $13 they brought out a plate of 6 chips that had a few small “flakes” of duck - barely any duck. We sent it back.I ordered a chicken Caesar salad that first came without chicken -forgotten - and then they brought me a plate with chicken on it that was the most disgusting protein I’ve ever eaten - and I happily eat army rations. It was obviously pre-cooked, recently frozen and thawed and had the consistency of dry, canned tuna fish. We asked the server to bring us ice-water 3 times. Guess what...never got any water. There are plenty of touristy brewery-centered eateries in the 1000 Islands; I’d recommend not going to this one.
MoreGreat food. The staff are very friendly and professional. Also great tasting craft beer. Love this place
MoreWas my birthday dinner,so we decided to eat here. Customer service was HORRIBLE. We decided to eat inside because it was getting chilly, was feeling ignored during dinner service. Food was cold when we finally got it, and the tables were all dirty when we decided to sit.Sorry to say, but it was one disgusting dinner night.
MoreVery unfriendly staff as if we were a bother, out of stock of 50% if there craft beers, The waitress forgot us and every time she waited in a table she just rolled her eyes. The bathrooms were filthy no TP, bartender was super grumpy especially after I mentioned there was no TP. Food was okay....
MoreBeer was fresh. Food wasn't fantastic. Service was good... Would stop in again if I was in the area but wouldn't make a trip for it.
MoreSackets Harbor Brewing Company has been a staple in upstate NY for more than 2 decades. There is a proud tradition of high quality service & excellent craft beers with outstanding food. I recommend anyone who is visiting the area and love craft beer or just want a good dinner out. Sackets is the place to go.
MoreGood selection of craft beers and a beautiful location.
If you want average food with slow service and a great view this is your place.
Nice place - stopped here for a quick beer & bloody-mary on our way to Watertown. They were out of their signature beer; but the waitress was kind to bring my husband a sample of the other offers and he found one he liked! Sat outside by the water - the service was good. Took a look at the menu; but didn't order - maybe next time!
MoreService was extremely slow Food wasn’t that great and pricey
Had to ask for silverware and twice for napkins. Ordered burger plain and got lettuce, tomato and onion and different offer to fix it. Ribs weren't smoked, too hot & tough like they were microwaved. Crispy onions were old, cold and chewy. One of us hadn't noticed until part way through he had lipstick on his glass.
MoreThe duck nachos, seafood chowder, steak Caeser, and grilled scallop salad we tried were phenomenal. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the beer is excellent. I've been coming here for 15 years and it's always top notch.
MoreMy first visit may not be my last but I wasn't encouraged by it. The server was at the center of my concern. His demeanor came off as aloof and he rushed me and my wife through our meal. The food was good, but the 1812 Amber Ale we had seemed flat. We were quickly closed out with no offer to stay or offer that we could. We left for the Boathouse, next door, because we wanted to sit and enjoy the view. Their 1812 Amber was not flat.
MoreAdirondack burger is great!
Staff was pleasant enough, seating was ample. Obnoxious teens in a boat next to the restaurant blasting music and partying - not their fault and wont hurt their score. Food was pretty good, but we came for the beer, which was...fine. Honestly, if you are doing a brewery hop, I would put this as a low priority at the moment. No flights, not even a beer menu - the waitress just tells you their selection when you ask - which is understandable in COVID times...except we received a physical food menu when we sat down? Maybe look into a QR code system which seems to be working great at other spaces!
